Customizing FAQ
So you like how your guestbook works, but you want it to look more like it belongs in your website? Well, the answers to your questions should be here.
How do I customize my guestbook?
To customize your guestbook, you must first access the configuration page. To access this page, simply view your guestbook and click the link at the top of your guestbook that says "configure this guestbook." Enter your password when it asks you. After you enter your password, you will be brought to the configuration page.
How do I change the colors of my guestbook?
Enter the configuration page as the first question on this page illustrates, then look for the section of the configuration page entitled "colors." To change the color of any part of your guestbook, simply enter the name of the color in the blank next to the part you would like to change.
Note: If you are experienced at HTML coding, you can also use hexadecimal color numbers.
My guestbook says "return to My Site" instead of having the title of my page. How
do I change this?
In the general section of the configuration page (see the first question on this page to learn how to get there), enter the title of your home page in the field called "Home Page Title." Then, enter the URL (address) of your page in the field called "Home Page URL." Remember, a URL must begin with "http://". For example, the URL to the Guestbook Depot page follows:http://www.guestbookdepot.com/index.shtml
If after changing the home page URL the link in your guestbook points to a page that says you are forbidden to view it, then you forgot to put "http://" at the beginning of your URL. This applies to any URLs you enter on the configuration page.
